Summer Days are Suppose to be Long & Fun...we do our best to make that happen!

Well today has been one of those day you "imagine" Summer Time to be 
It's funny,  I remember looking forward to Summer as a kid but looking forward to Summer as a parent takes me to a whole new level of excitement.  Maybe it's because being with my kids "really being with them, getting them, listening to them giggle, seeing that spark in their eyes" well that takes me back to my wonderful childhood days of Summer.  

The kids rolled out of the hotel in true "growing up Murnan" style ummm on a luggage cart of course.

We kicked things off as normal tourists do in Destin at one of the Go cart stops.  It was so funny we said to the kids hey guys we are getting ready to do something fun & Kya says with excitement are we going to sonic??? Ummm Kya Blu think way funner than that :-) We picked great ages (heights really) to attempt go carts because Kya was tall enough to ride alone & bossy was tall enough to ride with an adult.  Kya rode first so we could get pictures of her first ride alone & then she took on the roll of Photog.

 

Next is was off you our favorite Mexican Place in Sea Crest Beach.   While pulling into the parking lot Taevy Says "Dada I saw a pink bike out my window I willy need get dat for Christmas"...which we all giggle about.  I look over and see the "ideal" beach ride & say hey kids look at that slug bug van isn't it so cool? Kya says back is that thing even alive....meaning does that even run?

We had a yummy lunch where Bossy hollered Cinco De Mayo and swiped the flower center piece & pretended to be the bride.

then headed down to Watercolor Inn to check in.  Shawn dropped Taevy and me off at the Watercolor store where bossy shopped it up :-)

 I get a call from Shawn that they oversold the inn so there is no room for us but they are willing to put us up in a 4 bedroom beach house instead...ummm YES that works for me :-)...the kids were ecstatic and think this is the best beach house EVER...although they say that every year & about any house w bunk beds or Hammocks & this one happens the have both.
