You all are my Guatemalan Family and will be in our hearts forever. You all took the leap...into our adoption process...and we could not have done it with out you.

Candy and Shawn: I can not tell you how happy we both are for you and for Kya, we know that she couldn't be happier with her family! The whole experience of meeting you both has been very special, please know that you will always have your family from Guatemala and that we are thrilled to be a part of your life. Also I can not tell you how sorry I am for the difficult times, but I think that after all it made our friendship grow and i couldn't be more gratefull for it. Always remember the good moments in Guatemala and please come back...to not go to sears and shop for angels...jaja

We had chicken fried steak Saturday in honor of Kya and you. Everyone here in Nowata is so happy for us. They all want to know when they will see her. I told them we will have to have a Come and meet Kya party for the whole town. See u'all in my dreams till you get home.
